His message was frank but also one of steady resolve that Australia and Australians in general had the strength and talent to withstand a long period of ecinomic challenge. In his speech, Wayne Swan explained the strategy behind the federal government’s initiatives in confronting the GFC; why it had taken measures to quickly stabilise Australia’s banking system and put money into the pockets of ordinary Australians though the stimulus package.[vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]
