In her book, Muslim Women Reformers: Inspiring Voices Against Oppression, Dr Ida Lichter gives voice to the courageous, and often overlooked, women reformers of the Muslim world. They speak out with passion, humanity and even humour, bringing alive the harsh realities of Muslim law for women.
