Kate Legge is a multi award winning journalist who has covered federal politics out of Canberra and US presidential elections in Washington DC. She now writes on social affairs for The Australian. Her first novel, The Unexpected Elements of Love, (2006) was long-listed for the Miles Franklin Award. With the publication of her second novel The Marriage Club, Kate Legge addressed The Sydney Institute on Tuesday 2 June 2009.
