Mary Kissel is an editorial board member of The Wall Street Journal Editorial Board and from 2005 to 2010 was editor of The Wall Street Journal Asia’s editorial page. Kissel joined the Journal in Hong Kong in 2004 as writer of the Money & Investing section’s Heard in Asia column. Mary Kissel has worked for Goldman Sachs in New York and London and has a master’s degree in international affairs from the Johns Hopkins School of Advanced International Studies. On 28 September 2010, Mary Kissel addressed The Sydney Institute during a visit to Sydney.
