Lucy Howard-Taylor’s memoir of her battle with anorexia nervosa was published in 2008, when she was just nineteen. Biting Anorexia describes Lucy’s despair at the darkest points of her illness, and her escape from its grips to recovery, health and happiness. Lucy went on to study law and English literature at Sydney University, and recently won a place at Durham University to complete a Masters of Poetry. On Tuesday 9 March 2010 Lucy Howard-Taylor shared her experiences in an address to The Sydney Institute.[vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]
