Dr Neville Meaney, Associate Professor at the University of Sydney, has a long standing research interest in international history, especially concerning the way in which ideology, culture and geopolitics have interacted to shape the changing character of Australia’s relations with the world. Neville Meaney’s books include Towards a New Vision: Australia and Japan Across Time (2007) and his most recent book, Australia and World Crisis. On Tuesday 11 May 2010 Neville Meaney addressed The Sydney Institute on to discuss Australia’s involvement in international conflicts over a century.
