NSW Opposition leader Barry O’Farrell has long questioned what he perceives as the lack of good governance in the state of New South Wales. On Thursday 12 March 2009, Barry O’Farrell addressed The Sydney Instititute to put forward a number of proposals for good government in NSW saying, “In recent years there has not been nearly enough public scrutiny – of the ways in which governments bend the truth to suit their own political advantage; or – on the rise of a political culture that puts the retention of power ahead of public interest.”
