Scott Morrison MP is the federal Member for Cook and Shadow Minister for Immigration and Citizenship. Elected to Federal parliament in 2007, Scott Morrison has served as Shadow Minister for Housing and Local Government and on numerous parliamentary and Coalition policy committees. Before entering parliament, Scott Morrison was State Director of the Liberal Party of New South Wales. On Wednesday 6 October 2010, Scott Morrison addressed The Sydney Institute on the values he sees as being shared by all Australians. These values, Scott Morrison argued, sit outside any cultural tradition and provide a point of connection between cultures in an increasingly diverse population and provide the basis for social harmony.
