The Hon Tony Abbott is the Leader of the Opposition and federal leader of the Liberal Party of Australia. Elected to federal parliament in 1994, Tony Abbott has served as Minister for Employment, Workplace Relations and Small Business, Minister for Health and Ageing and Shadow Minister for Families, Community Services and Indigenous Affairs. On Tuesday, 27 July 2010, during the 2010 election campaign, Tony Abbott addressed The Sydney Institute to outline his vision for social policy under the Coalition.
