Why should Australia sell uranium to India? This has become a controversial issue Down Under. Dr Lavina Lee is a lecturer in politics and international relations at Macquarie University, Sydney. She has a combined law and commerce degree from the University of NSW, a Master of Arts with distinction from King’s College, University of London, and a doctorate in international relations from the University of Sydney. Lavina Lee is also the author of US Hegemony and Legitimacy: Norms, Power and Followership in the Wars in Iraq [Routledge, 2010]. Lavina Lee addressed The Sydney Institute on Wednesday 3 March arguing why Australia should change its uranium export policy.
